Noisy neighbors

Caught this little guy in our lawn. Actually, our cat found it and thought it was a good toy. I just rescued this little cicada.
I like to think they are somewhat cute, but they also are very noisy. I have a ringing in my ears from their concerts, luckily it won't last forever.
By the way, did you know that even cicadas must protect themselves from the volume of their own singing?
