Should one of you ever take a trip to Seattle, I think it is worth checking these out:
1. TheFairmont Olympia Hotel
Great location and definitively not the usual hotel
2. Dinner or lunch at Din Tai Fung (reservation recommended)
Only two locations in the US, Los Angeles und Seattle. Fantastic!
3. Pike's Market
Of course, it is full of people, but fun
4. Argosy Harbor Tour.
For the fish in you :)
5. Pioneer Square
Just for a stroll or shopping
6. Chihuly Glass museum
Wow!
Like New York everything is a little bit pricy, but you can purchase a Seattle pass and that reduces the entrance fee for most attractions
ScienceFiction /Fantasy Museum is interesting
The Starship sign will soon be put on our property ... for Halloween ;)
For the dragon fans out there
We spent the second week in the Tri Cities, Richland, Kennewick and Pasco. Volker had to work at the detector in Hanford, but we managed to squeeze in some free time for him.
Walking up the Badger. Only 1.2 miles, but steep (about 75 floors or 1500 ft)
The area is desert like, but it is not dry. Vineyards make sure of it ;)
and there was even a boat trip
It was fun, and good to visit again :)
